Bayou Beards started where the best things often do — at home, with a family that fell in love with their first golden and never looked back. What began as one carefully chosen pup grew into a passion for breeding the kind of dogs we'd want our own kids growing up alongside.
Today we're an AKC-registered breeder deep in Louisiana, raising small, intentional litters in a home environment. Every pup is born indoors, raised underfoot, and socialized from day one with the sights, sounds, and people of a working household.
We don't run a puppy mill. We don't sell to brokers. We breed because we love these dogs — and we place them with families and hunters who'll love them just as much.
